2. Content and scientific context
This site presents microscopy, nature-inspired imagery, motion and visual storytelling. Images identified as artistic or AI-assisted visualizations are illustrative rather than authenticated scientific observations. Species, magnification or provenance should not be inferred unless expressly documented. Material is for general interest and education, not medical, diagnostic or professional advice.
Content remains owned by its respective rights holders. Viewing and sharing a link does not grant a licence to copy, sell, redistribute or reuse the underlying media. Obtain permission from the relevant owner unless a specific licence or applicable law permits the use. Credits and third-party rights must be respected. Administrators must hold the rights and permissions needed for all uploaded material.
3. Likes, links and social platforms
Website likes are local engagement signals, not verified identities or social-platform endorsements. They are not synchronized with third-party like counts. Share buttons share a link to an observation using your browser or copy function; publication through another service requires your action.
External websites and platforms operate independently. We are not endorsed by Google, YouTube, TikTok or Meta, and are not responsible for their content, availability or decisions. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies.
4. Luna Share and platform terms
The separate Luna Share Windows application requires your own authorized platform credentials and any required permissions or approvals. You are responsible for the channels you authorize, content rights, accuracy of metadata, privacy and audience choices, and compliance with each platform’s rules. Do not provide another person’s credentials without authority.
When using YouTube-related features, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s Privacy Policy also applies. TikTok and Meta integrations remain subject to their applicable service terms and API rules. The current TikTok route requires completion inside TikTok.
Accepted, submitted, processing and published are different outcomes. A queued or submitted upload is not a guarantee of public publication. Scheduling requires the desktop app to be running with network access and an awake computer. Tokens can expire or be revoked. An interrupted request may already have succeeded; check the destination before retrying to avoid duplicates. Removing local data does not remove remote posts.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious files, interfere with the site, manipulate engagement, impersonate another person, breach intellectual property or privacy rights, or use the site or tools unlawfully. Public visitors cannot upload content or create accounts. Administrator credentials must be kept private. We may restrict abusive activity or remove material where reasonably necessary.
6. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but content and services may change or be interrupted. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, a particular audience, platform approval or a specific publishing result.
